Privacy Policy
Inwatec ApS is delighted about your visit to this website, your interest in our company and our solutions. We take the protection of your private data very seriously and would like you to enjoy our website. You declare your consent to our terms and conditions of use upon visiting or using the Inwatec website.
Please note that you will be leaving the Inwatec website upon activating external links and references. This privacy statement shall not apply to external links.
Cookies
Inwatec uses cookies to track users’ preferences and ideally design this website. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer’s hard drive. You can activate or deactivate the use of cookies at any time (browser settings). Our pages will also work if you have deactivated them accordingly. There is a difference between temporary cookies and protocol cookies. Temporary cookies are used to manage your visit. Servers use them to find out which page must be displayed next. Protocol cookies enable an identification of visited pages. Cookies are intended to help design websites as per your demands and needs. They contain technical information, but no personal data, such as email address or address. Personal data will exclusively be transferred following your explicit consent.
Personal data
Personal data is information used to establish your identity. It includes name, address, postal address, and telephone number. This data does not include information that cannot be linked to your identity (for instance the number of users on a website). As a rule, you can use our online services without disclosing your identity.
We will ask you for your name and other personal information if you request information or submit any other type of inquiry. You decide whether or not to enter this data. We save your data on protected servers. Only very few, authorized persons have access to this data. These are responsible for the technical, commercial, or editorial support of the content and servers.
If usage or traffic data is required for our services, it will be saved for a maximum of up to six months after having been collected. If the data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data will also be saved beyond this point. However, this data has been locked and is accessible to only very few persons using passwords.
Forwarding personal data to third parties
We shall exclusively use your personal information to respond to your inquiries. We shall not forward this data to third parties without your explicit consent. If we are obliged to do so on the basis of legislation or court orders, we shall forward your data to authorized entities.
Protection of underage persons
Children and persons under the age of 18 must not send personal data to us without the consent of parents or legal guardians.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, an online analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files, that are saved on your computer to enable analyzing your use of the website. The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie (including your IP address) is transferred to and saved on a Google server in the US. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports about website activities for website operators, and provide additional services linked to website and Internet use. Google may also forward this information to third parties providing this is legally required or third parties process this data on behalf of Google. You can prevent installation of the cookies by configuring your browser software settings accordingly.
Newsletters
At Inwatec we use MailChimp to manage our newsletter. There’s no third-party tracking in messages we send through MailChimp besides MailChimp’s own analytics, which we use in order to make our communication as relevant as possible. Mailchimp’s system allows us to see how many subscribers open a message or click the links inside. MailChimp’s privacy policy is available at http://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of the newsletter. You can also email mail@inwatec.dk to update your email address, or to request that we delete your email from the list of subscribers.
LinkedIn
This site uses the social plugins (“plugins”) of the linkedin.com social networking site (“LinkedIn”) operated by the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The button can be identified by the “LinkedIn-Logo” or “Share-Button” on this webpage. When a user accesses a web page on this site that features one of these buttons, the browser establishes a direct connection with LinkedIn’s servers as soon as the LinkedIn button is pressed. LinkedIn then transfers the content of the “in” button directly to the user’s browser, which integrates the content into the web page. The provider has no control over the amount of data that LinkedIn collects via the button after the user clicks on it. Thanks to the integration of the plugin, LinkedIn knows that you have accessed the relevant page of our website. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn can recognize you based on your LinkedIn account and record your visit. If users want to find out what data LinkedIn collects about them and why, how it processes and uses their data, and what rights and settings they can assert to protect their privacy, they should refer to LinkedIn’s data protection policy.
Twitter
With Twitter and its Retweet functions, we use social plug-ins from Twitter.com, operated by Twitter Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107. If you use Retweet, the websites visited by you are announced to third parties and associated with your Twitter account. Details about handling of your data by Twitter as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your personal information can be found in Twitter’s data privacy policy:http://twitter.com/privacy
YouTube
Some of our video presentation is provided by YouTube.com. It is labeled as such. According to the YouTube privacy policy, YouTube “may record information about your usage of the site, such as the channels, groups and favorites you subscribe to, which other users you communicate with, the videos you watch, the frequency and size of data transfers, and information you display about yourself as well as information you click on in YouTube (including UI elements, settings). If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your YouTube Account.” More is available on YouTube’s privacy policy page.
Right of access to personal data
Upon request, Inwatec will tell you whether your personal data has been stored, and if so, which data. If, in spite of our efforts, incorrect information has been stored, we will correct it at your request. Newsletters that are sent as an email always contain an opt-out link so you can stop receiving these emails.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions about the use of your personal data:
