How to exchange the drummotor on any machine

Exchange the drummotor on any machine step by step with our tutorial. If there is any help needed, do not hesitate to call us!

Required Tools:

Step 1:

Unplug the machine from its power supply!

Move the conveyor belt until the connection is visible.

Step 2:

Mark the position where the bolts are located before loosening them. This might safe you the time of adjusting afterwards.

Loosen the three bolts on both sides of the drummotor.

Step 3:

To reduce the tension of the conveyor belt, also loosen the six bolts on the opposite site.

Step 4:

Pull out the connection strap of the conveyor belt.

The drummotor is now free to be removed.

Step 5:

Find the drummotor’s orange cable in the electric box and disassemble all the wires.

Step 6:

The drummotor can now be replaced with a new one.

Step 7:

Insert the connection strap of the conveyor belt.

This might be a two-man job!

Step 8:

Fasten the bolts on both sides of the conveyor belt. Remember to also fasten the bolts on the other side of the conveyor belt!

Step 9:

Reconnect the wires in the electric box.

Step 10:

Make sure the conveyor belt does not run imbalanced. It can be adjusted with the three bolts on each side of the drummotor!
